Q: How can exercise make me feel better, doctors always suggest it but I never understand.
A: Wow, where do I begin??? I'll keep it simple. Exercise releases positive hormones called catabolic hormones which meant to build up: These hormones such as Epinephrine, Adrenaline & Endorphins are known to be mood boosters/stabilizers therefore aiding to provide you the energy to sustain exercise, and then can create a calming, more euphoric feeling after exercise which has been proven to help with clients of depression, anxiety & so many other symptoms. It is the best thing you can do for yourself. There really is no greater feeling than when you are feeling strong within your body and your mind. Also, exercise can also affect your sleep. Most of the time if we are feeling bad, chances are our sleep is off too, and a regular routine exercise, can aid in better sleep, fight constipation, and strengthen your heart muscles to help prevent CAD. The effects of exercise are truly endless.
