Anytime I think about dieting, I go into a frenzy & wind up eating more than I was before, can you help?

Q: Anytime I think about dieting, I go into a frenzy & wind up eating more than I was before, can you help?

A: First of all, please eliminate the word "diet” from your vocabulary.  It's such a limiting word than creates depravation in the physic & is completely useless. When you are approaching any change in your life, especially with food, I find it helpful to think of your new change as you are simply getting healthier, that your body is asking for some support to feel better. You and your body are a team & need to support one another. Don’t mind yourself with useless limits. Don’t focus on what you think you "cant" have, rather put emphasis on everything you are & can do!

Q: What vitamins do you think are helpful to take?

A: My opinion is vitamins- are very expensive pee! If you are thinking about adding vitamins to your regime, I 100% suggest consulting a physician first & having your blood work done. Your doctor will determine if you are deficient in anything & he will advise you if there is a need for supplements.  I am blown away with how many people intake so many vitamins on a daily basis & it's completely unnecessary. A good rule of thumb I have learned from many doctors; if you are taking vitamins and if your urine is neon yellow, chances are you have a surplus & your body doesn’t need them! Also, a note about calcium; please consult your doctor on this. So many people take calcium supplements in the form of 1000, or 1500 mg.  Note: your body can only absorb roughly 500 mg at a time, so do think about splitting your doses up, otherwise, again it's a big waste of your money.
